Tell us a little bit about your background. (Where you grew up, hobbies, where you went/go to school…)
I’m a third-year student majoring in Architectural Studies and Design at Northeastern University. I’m originally from Southern California, but I’ve come all the way to Boston for college. I love listening to music, watching videos, paper crafting, and dancing.
What made you want to study architecture and design?
I always knew that I loved to create, and I experimented with many different mediums. It’s gratifying to watch design concepts come to life. This led me to explore architecture at Northeastern, later switching to Architectural Studies and Design to learn about other forms of design too.
What do you hope to gain from interning with WBA?
I hope to become more comfortable with software used frequently in design and marketing, and use the skills I gain to help grow my little crafting business. Most importantly, I hope to gain experience working in an established architecture firm and truly see how projects are completed from start to finish.
Why did you choose to work at WBA?
I was immediately drawn in by how Wilson Butler Architects presents itself. The firm is dedicated to architecture for the arts and entertainment. The range of work is especially unique, and the team is introduced in a fun and friendly way. I was also very excited by their model shop.
