MASTER PLANNING

Design in collaboration with Tom Wright and Design 5

Quantum takes a multitude of unique passenger experiences and brings them together into a once in a lifetime cruise. We designed the Adventure Ocean and the H20 Zone with wave pool for the optimal children’s experience. Inspiration drivers, including colorful underwater sea creatures and DreamWorks Madagascar characters, entertain guests of all ages and remind us all that we are all children at heart.

Wilson Butler Architects also designed a “Xbox Zone” for teens, the ever popular Johnny Rockets, and collaborated in the SeaPlex which includes, rollerskating, basketball, and two more firsts at sea, bumper cars and a food truck.

We integrated these experiences with the Main Theater, Photo Gallery, Two70 in collaboration with 5+Design, Solarium Bistro, Solarium, Enclosed Pool with retractable roof and walls for full open air experiences, Main Pool, outdoor decks, the Sports Deck, and the North Star and bar.

PERFORMANCE

Two70, designed in collaboration with 5+Design, is a technology-based, multi-media performing arts venue. With ceiling-to-floor windows and robotic moving video walls, Two70 can transform to accommodate a variety of performances. The entertainment literally surrounds the audience, taking the experience to new heights and exhilarating the senses. During the day, Two70 serves as a guest favorite providing welcome relaxation, refreshment and panoramic, ocean views.

HOSPITALITY

What does everyone love about vacation? The food and beverages, of course! The Solarium Bistro, Johnny Rockets, and the diverse and numerous dining and beverage options on Quantum completely re-imagine dining at sea. Reflecting modern cruise passenger tastes, the restaurants and bars are designed for flexibility, variety and fun. The look and feel of these environments reflects the adventure and excitement with bright colors, comfortable seating, and a modern flair, inviting you in for a quick bite or for an extended cocktail hour.

INNOVATION

Innovative design creates experiences found only in one place. First up is RipCord by iFly, a first at sea skydiving simulator located on the ship’s uppermost deck. Prior to a first dive, guests must suit-up and participate in a 15 minute orientation class in the iFly training space.

After the sky dive, guests may take another ride on FlowRider, a surf simulator machine for surfing located at the aft end of the ship. Then off to North Star (designed in collaboration with Atkins Global, Tom Wright and Design 5), a transparent jewel of a ride that elevates guests to over 300 feet above sea level  and delivers unstoppable views – who expects that on a cruise ship!  Seaplex designed in collaboration with Tom Wright and Design 5.
