Doreen came to us in 1999, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Massachusetts College of Arts and a mind for numbers and detail. Who better to manage the finances of an architectural firm?

As a longtime Boston resident, Doreen knows the ins and outs of our city as well as our beloved local projects. Doreen appreciates what brings zest to and meaning to life – art, food, travel, friends and family. With a signature laugh and a matching quick wit that is hard to emulate, but easy to admire, she is a spark that ignites the office. What other firm can say that about their Financial Manager?

Leah Brave Solomon

Leah joined the Wilson Butler team in 2016 after graduating from Northeastern University with her Master’s degree. She was drawn to Wilson Butler’s focus on arts and entertainment having minored in theater at Northeastern and being a lifelong theater lover. Her strong work ethic along with her attention to detail has been essential to the realization of projects including Auburn University’s Gogue Performing Arts Center and the Boston Arts Academy. Leah is one of the co-founders of the office’s Justice & Equity for Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Council, the head of the Office Culture and Community Involvement Committee, and the captain of the WBA’s award winning Canstruction Team. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and spending time with friends and family.

Drew Chamberlin, AIA

Drew Chamberlin is a skilled and forward-thinking architect with over 12 years of experience, including the past 7 years at Wilson Butler Architects. He brings deep expertise in 3D modeling of complex geometries, computational and parametric design, and close interdisciplinary collaboration with builders, engineers, and specialty entertainment consultants to realize technically demanding performance spaces. Drew has made significant contributions to numerous high-profile projects, including Royal Caribbean Group’s Navigator of the Seas, Wonder of the Seas, Utopia of the Seas, Icon of the Seas, and Star of the Seas. His portfolio also includes work for TUI Cruises GmbH and Celebrity Cruises Inc., along with academic performance spaces at Berklee College of Music and Northeastern University.

Known for his collaborative approach and technical problem-solving skills, Drew excels at coordinating with clients, shipyards, consultants, and outfitters to ensure project success. His leadership on key design elements—such as the AquaDome, The Pearl, and Thrill Island Water Park for Icon of the Seas; the Dining Car Virtual Experience for Utopia of the Seas; and the Solarium and AquaTheater ETFE structures for Wonder of the Seas—demonstrates his ability to blend innovation with precision.

Nick’s education and prior career experience has exposed him to a variety of building typologies with a particular appreciation for historic structures. This has enabled him to develop skills for problem solving and respectfully adapting existing spaces for future use. With an emphasis on coordination between clients, project consultants, and colleagues. Nick’s passion for historic spaces, while learning new technology and construction techniques brings potential opportunities to each project.

Maria Salvatierra, CPSM

Maria Salvatierra joined Wilson Butler in 2019 with more than 15 years of international marketing experience in arts and architecture. With additional expertise in sponsorship and fundraising, she was drawn to Wilson Butler Architects’ focus on arts and entertainment together with our commitment to support the capital campaigns of our partners. In her role, she oversees all aspects of marketing and BD, including branding and communications. She served as the 2022/2023 Director of Outreach at SMPS Boston and is also an active member of the BSA Cultural Facilities Network. She was also a committee chair for the BSA’s Marketing/PR Network in 2019.

Darian brings her enthusiasm for problem solving, creative eye, and atten­tion to detail to every project. She is passionate about helping clients find the right solution and does not believe in one-size-fits-all. A LEED-certified professional, she is always looking for opportunities to improve sustain­ability. Her work includes clients from many diverse markets and industries, including higher education, law/finance, nonprofit, multifamily residential, corporate, and hospitality.
