Wilson Butler Architects honored in 13th Annual International Design Awards for Altria Theater

January 28, 2020

Altria Theater has been awarded Silver in the 13th Annual International Design Awards (ID) in the category of Interior Design: Renovation.
(IDA) received thousands of design entries submitted by companies and designers from over 90 countries. The stellar international jury evaluated our entry based not only on the highest of current design standards and trends, but also seeking out truly visionary designers who would take the creative leap and lead the way into the future.

“The Altria Theater is a building with so much character, grandeur, and many stories to share.  It truly had the potential to elevate the theater-goer’s experience with its atmosphere once we had the opportunity to peel back the layers of paint, add amenities, and go beyond the level of hospitality expected by today’s patron.  The building can now shine, and most importantly be useful and loved for decades to come.  I am so happy the IDA judges appreciated the Altria’s mystique that our team had the pleasure to reveal”, says lead interior designer Rebecca Durante.

Congratulations to Rebecca Durante and the rest of the team, Scott Wilson, Bruce Herrmann, Pete Cameron, and Josh Stiling.
